somerset apprentice
I wrote an article for the new issue of Somerset Apprentice Magazine. Here's a sneak peek!
To make these easy silhouettes an frames, I used oval stretched canvases, Claudine Hellmuth Studio Sticky Back canvas, Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints and mediums and a photo copy to create the bird transfer! Complete instructions in this month's issue of Somerset Apprentice Magazine!

These are so cool, Claudine. I really must watch your color video. We must economize in this time of financial crisis. 51 colors from 15 sounds great to me! :)
Congrats, Claudine. I saw your contrubution to Somerset Studio's Big Works on Small Canvases as well!
Cool beans, Claudine! I just used your studio paints and can I tell you how much I love them? I did a watercolor effect on paper and can't wait to do a whole series of these for my next exhibit.
BTW, thank you for sending me your original color chart scans.
(it was me :)

p.s. sweet Toby is in my heart, too...I think everyone here is in love with him.

I think your project may be my favorite from the magazine--though that's not surprising! I think I have some oval frames. I need to get my hands on some sticky back canvas now!
Had no idea you had a line of products--man, I've been out of the collage loop for too long! Congrats on the article; Somerset is the big mama mag for sure. :)
I cannot wait to try the new project in the March issue. It looks like so much fun. Why am I not surprised. You never disappoint - always something fab!
