illustration friday: welcome
Here's my Illustration Friday entry for the theme of "welcome"

Nothing says "welcome" like a freshly baked apple pie!!

I developed this piece from practice sketches I created for a custom artwork order I am working on along the same theme! I have been hungry for pie all week while working on these pieces!

Happy Friday everyone!

Love your retro work!!
It sure does - this is how one of our neighbors welcomed us to So. Cal. 23 years ago - although it was banana creme pie from Marie Callender's cause their son worked there! They turned out to be great neighbors the 13 yrs. we lived next to them!
oh, this is a perfect take on the topic! and the pie looks delicious :)
I am such a fan of your work Claudine!
I had also thought of food as a sign of welcome (especially baked goods!) but I settled on WINE after seeing this.
Yummy! this has a wonderful vintage feel.
Class piece of work - love it!
