Dear Claudine: Thank you for your tut on the gesso transfer. I just bought a few of your products from Blitzy so that I could try them. Can't find them in Michael's or Joann's stores locally. But I got them and can't wait to try the transfer technique. I also subscribed to your YouTube Channel. OOOO!

Thanks ro! I appreciate it! Have fun with the transfer!!

Hi Claudine, I just wanted to say a huge thank-you for the transfer tutorial. Luckily I have a new pot of your gesso (fab consistency compared to others I've tried, yippee) and was able to give it a go today. I have no idea if the images I used are photocopies or printer copies but whatever they are the results are fantastic and will be going in an Altered book project I am working on. Thank-you again, lol I never would have thought about gesso as a transfer medium but it is a technique I will definitely be using again.
Huge hugs x
Dawn

Hi Claudine, Always love your tutorials!!! Image transfer is one of my favorite things to do. After watching the video I did a transfer the same way you did only on your sticky back canvas and it did not come out. I usually let it dry overnight but this time I used the heat tool and when I began to rub the whole thing started to dissolve??? Second my favorite image to transfer is people. What about using clear gesso???? Hope you can answer my questions. I know you are busy so no hurry.
Thanks,
Michele

Hi Michele! My best guess is that even with the heat tool it didn't dry all the way. That sounds like it with the dissolving description. Or maybe did you use an inkjet instead of a laser copy? Inkjet can bleed and you lose the image.
