weekend's over
The weekend sped by as usual. Saturday it was crazy rainy here so Paul and I took the opportunity to do one of the things we like the least. Go to the Mall. Both of hate shopping so it was a dreaded task. We needed to buy sweaters and a coat for Paul. We are totally unprepared for cooler weather. Then I got a new keyboard for my MAC because I broke ours last week when I spilled water on it. We had a successful shopping trip and found a bunch of sweaters at Old Navy.

Saturday night we met up with some friends of the family in Georgetown for dinner. Then we went to Georgetown Cupcake. Yum yum! I had the Red Velvet cupcake and it was amazing. We have now had cupcakes from Cake Love, Hello Cupcake and Georgetown Cupcake and we both agree Georgetown Cupcake is the best of all 3!

Today Tonilyn and Jim came over to do a filming/interview in my studio for the Crafty Nation web site which will launch soon! That was super fun!

This week is going to be a busy week! See you Monday!

Oh now you did it- it is all I want...

I had NO IDEA how popular they were- and to have 3 shops in DC no-less!

Happy Monday to you-xoxox

I totally agree about the cupcakes. It is definitely Georgetown Cupcake 1st, with a close second of CakeLove, and a far trailing third of Hello Cupcake.
Oh yummm Claudine...cupcakes are yummy!!! can you take some photos next time...hehehe

I love seeing all kinds of cupcakes...

Have a wonderful Monday...
Hm! I just tried red velvet cupcakes for the first time a few days ago. A friend opened up an art-gift boutique in Dublin, CA, and the grand opening was catered by a place called "The Killer Bakery" -- and the cupcakes were indeed dangerously tasty.

A lot of my Facebook friends have been obsessing about cupcakes lately, and now when I see cupcakes I can only think of Jenny Heid (jennyeveryday)…

thanks for that review...last birthday I was on a quest for just that...a red velvet cupcake! Now I know. Will you take me there? :)
I haven't tried Hello Cupcake but Georgetown Cupcakes does have good red Velvet and if you like chocolate the one with the white frosting is good too! Lavender Moon opened up in Old Towne, and people like Baked & Wired which is in Georgetown too!
