printed sticky back canvas dress
Here's a peek of one of the projects we made in my online class last week with Scrap in Style TV.
You can print onto the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Sticky Back Canvas in your inkjet printer (laser printing not recommended). Here I cut it into a dress shape, made two sides and stuffed it with batting to create dimension.
I used one of my favorite photos of my Mom in her 20's when she was working for The Sunday Express in Johannesburg. She's sitting on the shoulders of Mr Universe! Love it!

Sticky back canvas?...what a cool idea, you creative creature. Now I need some.
Your Mom is beautiful. Those Hellmuth women are knockouts!

Love your sticky back canvas! Have it in both sizes. It definitely gets my vote as best new product.
I bought your canvas during your first class at SIStv. And yesterday it saves me on a project I had to help my son to make - a memorial quilt for the Names Project (AIds). I printed 3 pictures of Freddy Mercury, then sew it to the quilt background... As soon as I upload it to my blog I'll inform you. Tks for the amazing product!
Claudine I loved this photo when you showed it before! Making it into a dress shape like this with the rusted hanger has such a Fifties feel to it. So charming!
this would be great to hang with your favourite party dress as your mum looks as if she had so much fun that day!! and who wouldnt on those strong shoulders!!!
