CLAUDINE HELLMUTH blog

ask me some questions!
I am re-writing my "about me" page on my web site.

I decided instead of doing it in one long drawn out statement that I would do a mini interview. Now I am stuck as to what questions to ask myself.

If you post a question for me in my comments, I will love you forever!

Claudine,

Thanks again for the Poppet stamps :)

1.)If you were not an artist (heaven forbid!), what path do you think you would have taken?

2.)What is the ONE art supply you cannot live without?

Why do you teach?
How many pets are too many?
Paper or plastic?
What's your favourite thing to grow?

Hey - THANKS for the great class last Sunday. It was inspiring and just what I needed to shake things up around here. You're a great teacher - and that's what makes the difference!

I've got one....

What do you like to do when you're not working/to relax?

Do you earn your living entirely from your art and teaching?

Do you go to WDW as often as you should, seeing as you live right there in Orlando ;-)

What do you do when you feel stuck, when you feel that the idea well has run dry?

What do you do just for YOU -- what do you create for your own pleasure?

What do you not know how to do that you would like to learn?

1) How often do you have to reorganize your studio?
2) How and when do you change your art style?
3) What is your favorite medium?
4) Why do you hate to shop?????
5) if you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

When do you sleep?

~How do you stay motivated?
~You seem to create everyday: How do you organize your time since you work from home?

If you could inhabit the body of any other artist (past or present) for a day, who would it be and why?

If you were set loose in the mall and ordered to spend $100 in 30 minutes or less, where would you go first and what would you buy? Would you spend it all on one thing, or try to get the most for your money? (hope this one doesn't make you break out in hives, LOL)

What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?

What was your first piece of art?
Where is your first piece of art?
What was the first piece of art that you sold?
What was the most unusual dream you ever had? (I once dreamed all the animals in the zoo were stuffed)
Do you dream in color?
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If you could create a piece of art for someone famous...who would it be and why? (besides Martha)

Is there any other medium you would/do like to work in, such as clay, photography etc.?
What is your greatest accomplishment this far?
What is your dream come true for the Claudine Hellmuth enterprise?

great things to come,
Amber

What part of being an artist do you like the best? the least? the most challenging?
What do you aspire to do that you have not already accomplished?
What things provide you with inspiration?
Have you ever had negative responses to your art (GASP, I can't imagine) and if so, how do you handle that?
What are some tips/hints for persuing a career as an artist and networking in the art world?

When are you most creative? (morning, noon or night) and why do you think that is?

How does your love of animals and love or art collide?

Are you a half-full or half-empty kind of person?

How many hours a day are you creative?

Hi Claudine:

Is there an art medium that you've always dreamed of trying but are intimidated to try?

and...

How do you "store" your new ideas while you are waiting to try them out?

What three essentials would you take with you to a desert island?

Oh, what fun!
Whats your favourite word?
If you could spend a day with anyone, who would it be?
What are you afraid of?
Meganx

Where do you see your work in the context of art and art history? Do you consider yourself a commercial artist or more of an illustrator (or both, or neither?) What is your greatest fear professionally?

Love the new style of your website! Here are my questions:

What is your favorite art supply?
Which artists inspire you?
Do you have any advice for young artists?
Out of all the places you have traveled to, which was your favorite?
What is a basic day for you like?
What is your favorite color?
What is your favorite type of animal?
