we did it!
It was only a month ago that we found out we'd need to move out of our apartment because our landlord was selling the place.

And here we are all moved in and just about settled into our new place just a few blocks away! It happened so fast, with tons and tons of effort, but it's done! Thankfully my mom came up to help with the final stages of cleaning and packing, I really don't think we could have done it without her.

We started officially moving last week on May 19th and had movers haul the really heavy stuff. We did everything that would fit in the car which involved lots and lots of trips back and forth but it did save us money. I got so many bruises carrying everything I think I counted 15 at one point, it's a good thing I'm not going on HSN anytime soon because I look like a wreck!

We are exhausted but excited it is done. I'm still getting my wits about me and my studio organized but as soon as it's photo ready I'll take some pictures!
Glad it went so smoothly for you. Look forward to seeing pics.
I'm glad you're mostly settled, and it's great you're only a few blocks away from your old place! No need to find new haunts! :) Hopefully you can stay put for a while.
Welcome home! Glad it is behind you.....hugs to the bruises!
Congratulations Claudine! I bet you found stuff you forgot you had. :o)

Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
I hope you have many blessings in your new home!
Congrats on a successful move! Very anxious to see photos of your new studio set up! Hope the fur babies took the move well too, xoxo
