oh no! poor Maggie!
Sweet little Maggie is not well. Yesterday we noticed she was sleeping a lot in her little snuggle bed. At first in the morning we didn't think anything of it (cats sleep a lot anyway) but then last night when she was still sleeping we started to worry. We tried coaxing her with freshly cooked chicken, she didn't want any, then I started to really worry! She just goes limp when we pick her up so something is not right.

This morning I rushed her to the vet as soon as they opened. She's a little dehydrated, but no fever. I had to leave her there so they could do blood work and x-rays and they will call me later. I am a nervous wreck about it. I went over the whole house with a fine tooth comb to see if I could find anything she had eaten. She is famous for eating inanimate objects despite our best efforts to rid the house of anything that could tempt her.

I am so worried for my Maggie! Waiting for the vet to call is agony!

PS. Toby seems to be feeling better today, thankfully!

I hope Maggie is okay. We have a sick kitty too, so I know what you are going through.
So sorry to hear about poor Maggie. Sending good thoughts and wishes your way that Maggie will be ok. Hugs.
My thoughts are with you Claudine. I know how helpless you feel when a furry person is sick and they can not tell you what is wrong.

Hugs to you and to Maggie.
Oh, I do hope Maggie is ok by now, or that, at least, the vet has discovered the problem and she is on the mend!
thanks guys! I just got a call from the vet. X-rays look OK and initial bloodwork looks good too. so right now it's a big question mark. They are giving her fluids and antibiotic and then I'll go pick her up.

she did this a couple years ago and was back to normal after getting the fluids and antibiotic so I am praying it's the same this time!

thanks for all the well wishes!!!
oh claudine! HUGE hugs for you and Maggie! hang in there - sending healing hugs your way!
So nice to discover you online...I have seen your art in magazines! Loved your "rain" art! Oh NO! Poor Maggie!", I have aborder collie named Maggie..we tend to use this phrase quite a bit in our house too! I do hope she is okay, which of her nine lives is she on?
Oh no!! I hope she is okay. I will be thinking of you and Maggie and I am still thinking about Toby and wishing you all the very best!
My Lucy (black Lab mix) and I are thinking good thoughts for Maggie! Let us know how she comes out!!
Good vibes to you and Maggie.
my murphy and i are sending well wishes your way!
It is so hard when they don't feel well ! I hope the fluids help. Good to know Toby is doing better too. He is the cutest little grumpy Pekey.
My thoughts are with you. I am completely distraught when my Jasper is ill. I wouldn't be the same without him.
