embossed metal foil stencil technique

I've got another stencil tutorial video for you!

In this video I'll share with you an embossed metal foil stencil technique using Claudine Hellmuth Studio gesso, Ranger foil tape, and my new stencils with Ranger and the Crafters Workshop

My new stencils are available in store now. Find them online at Ellen Huston, Simon Says Stamp and ask for them at your local Craft Store!

  3. Sigh-I'm confused.I understand the gesso part but not real clear on how you did the embossing. You mentioned embossing folders-do you have plain ones?

    1. Hi Beth! You can treat the stencil as if its an embossing folder and just run it your machine with the foil tape. Or you can use embossing folders to get an impression on the foil. I was think of another way to use the stencil so that's why I embossed with the stencil.
