This is an extra special kit - it includes SVG files so that you can print and cut on your personal cutting machine! But not to worry if you don't have a cutting machine! I have also included a PDF file so you can easily cut these out the old fashioned way with scissors :)
We had a lot of fun trying on the glasses - even our dog Maggie got in on it too. I plan to take them to Karaoke this weekend and play a little dress up. And don't you think they would be perfect for a Mad Men party too!? oh the possibilities!
UPDATE: I have revamped and updated the files to create a brand new kit that works with the SCAL software, you'll want to download the kit again if you downloaded it before 3/10/14
I've been working behind the scenes here for a little while on this project. It took me a long time to figure out just how to set up my images so they could be print and cut, the usual auto-trace features and other methods I found with google just didn't work with my files... so it took a bit of tinkering... and I am so thrilled that I finally got it working!
SETTING UP THE SVG FILES:
There's a couple of little set up tweaks you'll want to make when opening and using these SVGs, and it might be a little different from other SVGs that you've used before, so I've created a couple of handy videos for you!
If you have a Silhouette machine and use the Silhouette Designer Software you will want to watch this one:
SURE CUTS ALOT:
If you have another type of machine or use Sure Cuts A Lot 3 (SCAL) software - you'll want to watch this one - also included the complete process of printing and cutting, showing how it works in my cutting machine. If you are new to cutting machines, or just curious about how they work, you'll want to check it out:
SCAL is a 3rd party software that works with many different types of cutting machines: Wishblade, eCraft, Craft Robo and more. This video will also help you if you are using the Sizzix Eclips because that software is very similar and designed by the same company who makes Sure Cuts A Lot!
SPREAD THE WORD:

It took me about a full month of designing to get the kit just right. I really wanted to make sure the basket could hold a mini cupcake, the balloon part could also hold treats and candies, they would be fairly easy to put together and look adorable of course!
They come as two separate kits, a pink + green and then another kit that is yellow + aqua blue.
Customize the balloons with names, table numbers etc. It's easy to adjust the text on the included balloon labels right in the PDF, no special software needed! Simply open the PDF in Adobe Reader (which you can get for free) then change the text to fit any occasion: baby showers, gender reveal parties, spring events, Easter, birthdays etc.
Make a hot air balloon mobile to use as home decor in a play room, or nursery (safety first: make sure to keep out of the reach of small children)
